DONT DIE WITH GOD INVESTMENT ON YOU

MOMENT OF ENCOUNTER DEVOTIONAL

DON'T DIE WITH GOD'S INVESTMENT!

WHEN GRACE BECOMES EVIDENCE AGAINST YOU

TEXT: Matthew 25:14–30

«"His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant..."
— Matthew 25:26 (KJV)»

INTRODUCTION: HEAVEN IS NOT RUNNING A CHARITY ORGANIZATION

Permit me to ask you a painful question: If God conducted an audit of your life today, would He discover an investment... or an abandoned project?

Many believers pray for more anointing, more money, more opportunities, more favour, while Heaven is still asking, "What did you do with the one I gave you?"

Imagine buying an expensive tractor only to use it as a clothes hanger. Ridiculous! Yet many people treat God's grace exactly like that.

✓God gives them wisdom, they use it only to argue.

✓He gives them influence, they waste it on gossip.

✓He gives them a voice, they use it to complain instead of proclaiming Christ.

Grace was never given for decoration; it was given for demonstration.

The tragedy of the third servant was not immorality. He was not an adulterer, robber, or idol worshipper. His greatest sin was productive inactivity.

Many Christians are waiting for a "better time." Unfortunately, tomorrow has become the cemetery where countless divine assignments are buried.

One day Heaven will not ask, "How gifted were you?" It will ask, "What did you do with what I entrusted to you?"

1. GOD NEVER MAKES A BAD INVESTMENT

Matthew 25:15

The Master distributed talents according to ability, not according to favoritism.

God never says, "Oops! I gave grace to the wrong person."

If He called you, He has already equipped you.

Biblical Examples

Moses complained that he could not speak (Exodus 4:10). God replied, "Who made your mouth?" The problem was never Moses' tongue but Moses' confidence.

Jeremiah protested, "I am only a child" (Jeremiah 1:6). God refused the excuse and sent him anyway.

Gideon called himself the least in his family (Judges 6:15), yet God called him "mighty man of valour."

God specializes in using people who think they cannot be used.

Practical Lesson

Stop insulting God's wisdom by saying, "I can't."

If God trusted you with the assignment, He has already provided the capacity.

2. UNUSED GRACE BECOMES WASTED GRACE

The third servant committed one dangerous offence:

He did absolutely nothing.

The cemetery is full of songs never sung, books never written, businesses never started, churches never planted, sermons never preached, and souls never reached.

Satan celebrates not only when people sin, but also when they postpone obedience.

Biblical Examples

The servant buried his talent.

Jonah buried his assignment by running to Tarshish.

King Saul buried God's command under public opinion and lost his kingdom.

Meanwhile,

David used his little opportunity to confront Goliath.

The little boy gave Jesus five loaves and two fishes, and history remembers him.

The difference was not what they possessed but what they did with it.

Practical Lesson

God blesses movement.

Many doors never open because many believers never knock.

3. EXCUSES ARE REBELLION WEARING RELIGIOUS CLOTHES

Matthew 25:24–25

The servant blamed his master.

Human beings have mastered the ministry of excuses.

✓"I'm too old."

✓"I'm too young."

✓"I'm waiting for confirmation."

✓"My family doesn't support me."

✓"I don't have enough money."

✓"I'm praying about it."

Sometimes what we call "waiting on God" is simply God waiting on us.

Biblical Examples

Adam blamed Eve.

Eve blamed the serpent.

Aaron blamed the people for the golden calf.

Saul blamed the soldiers.

Nobody accepted responsibility.

Contrast this with Isaiah, who simply declared,

«"Here am I; send me."»

God uses available people before He perfects them.

Practical Lesson

Excuses may convince people, but they never convince God.

4. WHEN YOU REFUSE TO USE GRACE, GOD TRANSFERS IT

Matthew 25:28

One of the most frightening verses in Scripture says,

"Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents."

Grace ignored eventually changes address.

God's work never stops because one person refuses to obey.

Biblical Examples

✓Saul lost the kingdom.

David received it.

✓Judas lost his apostleship.

Matthias occupied it.

✓Queen Vashti lost her throne.

Esther entered the palace.

✓The generation that left Egypt died in the wilderness.

Joshua and Caleb inherited the promise.

God's programme never fails because one man says "No."

Practical Lesson

Do not spend your life watching someone else succeed in the assignment God originally prepared for you.

LIFE APPLICATION

✓In Ministry

Stop waiting until you become "perfect."

Your scars may become someone's healing.

✓In Marriage

Use the grace to forgive, encourage, pray, and build your home.

Strong marriages are built by intentional grace.

✓In Business

That idea disturbing your heart may be Heaven's investment.

Stop postponing it.

✓In Evangelism

Someone's eternity may depend on one conversation you keep postponing.

✓In Education

Knowledge without application produces educated frustration.

Sharpen your mind for God's glory.

KEY LESSONS TO REMEMBER

• Grace is a divine investment, not a souvenir.

• God rewards faithfulness, not excuses.

• Fear never pleases God as much as obedience.

• Every unused gift eventually becomes an account to be settled.

• Delayed obedience is often disguised disobedience.

PRAYER

Father,

Forgive me for every grace I have ignored, every opportunity I have wasted, every assignment I postponed, and every excuse I have offered.

Awaken every sleeping gift within me.

Destroy fear, laziness, and procrastination.

Let my life become profitable to Your Kingdom.

I refuse to bury what Heaven invested in me.

From today, I will multiply every grace You have entrusted to me.

In Jesus' mighty name.

Amen.

PROPHETIC CHARGE

I decree over your life today:

Every buried gift shall arise.

Every sleeping calling shall awaken.

Every delayed destiny shall recover speed.

You shall not die with God's investment inside you.

Your generation will not search for you in vain.

The grace upon your life shall produce visible results.

May Heaven rejoice over your obedience and not mourn over wasted opportunities.

From today, you shall move from excuses to exploits, from hiding to shining, and from potential to performance.

In Jesus' mighty Name. Amen.
